Wise Profits Careers

We help founders build more valuable companies, faster.

Wise Profits is an AI-Native value acceleration firm. We work with founder-led companies doing $2M to $50M in revenue, and we are hiring people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside AI.

🧭 The problem we solve

Founder-led companies rarely fail once they pass a few million in revenue. They stall.

The business outgrows the way the owner runs it. Decisions still go through the owner, the knowledge lives in their head, and no one else can drive change. Growth slows, value stays trapped, and the owner can't step back or sell.

Our job is to remove that constraint. We make decisions with the owner in the room, build the work with AI during the session, and install it so it keeps running without the owner's daily attention.

🚀 What we sell: velocity

Not speed. Velocity. Speed is only how fast. Velocity carries magnitude and direction: how much value, in how little time, toward a defined destination.

🎯 Mission, vision and how we win

🧭

Mission

We help founder-led businesses become more valuable, more independent, and more transferable.

🔭

Vision

Build an Acceleration Engine of exceptional people, systems, and AI that can consistently build and scale companies to $10M, $20M, $50M, and $100M+ in annual revenue, fast.

🤝

Economic North Star

We win when the client wins. As the Acceleration Engine becomes more predictable, more of our compensation moves toward a share of the value we create.

The long-term asset is not a consulting firm. It is a machine for creating enterprise value, and the people who join now help build it.

💎 Our core values

Six values. We hire for them, and we hold each other to them.

🤞

Integrity: honor your word

Tell the truth, keep your commitments, and make it right when you fall short. Where trust is high, speed rises while friction and cost fall.

💬

Communication: create clarity

Communicate directly, proactively, and in a way that moves things forward.

🏁

Results: create meaningful outcomes

We measure success by what actually changes, not by activity or effort.

🔍

Transparency: make reality visible

Surface the facts, problems, risks, and mistakes early enough to do something about them.

🧘

Mindfulness: see the whole system

Understand context, consequences, and what matters most before acting.

❤️

Empathy: understand the human being

Recognize the perspectives, emotions, and realities of the people involved while still doing what the situation requires.

🌍 Our culture

We are a remote team of independent contractors across many countries and time zones. Here is what working with us is like.

🗣️

Clear English

Exceptional English is essential. A recording of you should be easy to follow at 1.5x to 2x speed.

🌐

All backgrounds, no focus on gender

We welcome all backgrounds. We don't do pronouns here, they/them included. Leave them out of your profile, email signature, and introductions.

🧩

Interdependence

Teamwork plus independence. You manage yourself, your environment, and your calendar, and you help each person succeed in their role.

🧠

Intelligence

Strong cognitive and communication skills keep our standards high.

🌱

Continuous growth

Everyone dedicates time to learning. We offer personal development plans and accountability for anyone who wants a structured path.

💡

Proactivity

Take initiative and bring fresh ideas. Look for ways to improve processes, tools, and approaches.

🎯

Directness

If something isn't working, say so. And yes, the occasional bit of profanity shows up, because sometimes nothing else does the job.

🤖

Embracing AI

Everyone uses AI effectively in their role, keeps improving their fluency, and stays current as the tools evolve.

📱

WhatsApp and Slack ready

Both are primary tools. You are comfortable with real-time chat and responsive communication.

⚡

Fast learning, quick execution

Our work moves quickly. Picking up new skills fast and delivering on time is essential.

☀️

Positive energy

Bring a strong, positive attitude. People who lift others up add a lot to our culture and productivity.

👔

Professional presence

Remote does not mean casual about quality. Not formal, but always respectful and credible.

🤖 How AI works here, and what we expect from you

AI is how the work gets done at Wise Profits, not a service we sell. Every role is designed around it. Humans own judgment, relationships, leadership, strategy, and accountability. AI carries the checking, coordination, repetitive execution, and information hunting.

Functional intelligence is what we hire for

What you can produce with your tools, treated as one system. It runs on three things that multiply, so the weakest one sets the ceiling. Try it.

How well you frame, structure, and aim the work
What the AI can actually do on this terrain
Your ability to judge whether the output holds
3

Your ceiling is calibrated trust. Raising the other two changes nothing.

What every hire commits to

  • 🤝
Relate to AI, don't just use it. Treat it like a capable colleague with no context. Push back, ask for its reasoning, and tell it when it missed.
  • ✍️
Own the output. If AI did 99% of the work, you still own it. Check depth is set by how reversible the work is, not by how confident you feel.
  • 🔒
Approved surfaces only. Client information goes only into company AI accounts where the vendor is barred from training on our data. Never personal accounts.
  • 🖼️
Lead with visuals. Diagrams, flows, and dashboards built fast with AI beat paragraphs.
  • 🔁
Think, refine, validate. Draft your own messy first version, refine it with AI, then validate it yourself.
  • 📚
Feed AI massive context. No important work starts from a cold prompt. There is a project, instructions, and real source material behind it.
  • 🎙️
Speak, don't type. Voice is our default for prompting. Speaking gives AI far more context than typing ever will.
  • 🏗️
Build once, compound forever. When you solve something well, capture it as a reusable prompt, context document, or workflow.
  • 🗂️
Check before you ask. Before asking a client for anything, check whether we already have it.
  • 📈
Constantly elevate. What we deliver has to be unmistakably better than what a client could build alone with AI. Each engagement raises the bar on the last.

How hard we check depends on what is at stake

Founding Business Development & Sales Lead

Full-timeRemote, worldwideBase + commission

Own the path from first conversation to signed client, and help us build a sales function of people and AI agents.

The role

This role has never existed here. We have had an appointment setter, which is a different job. You will build referral partnerships, work inbound and purchased leads, and nurture qualified prospects through to close.

You will also help define what this role is, refine our existing sales process with the founder, and design how AI and agents carry the repetitive work so you spend your time on relationships and closing.

What you will do

🤝 Build referral partnerships

  • Identify, reach out to, and develop relationships with strategic partners who serve our clients: M&A advisors, CPAs, wealth managers, attorneys, bankers, and PE firms.
  • Turn partners into a steady source of referrals through regular contact, co-marketing, and clear handoffs.

🎯 Work leads through to close

  • Follow up quickly on inbound leads and on lead lists we purchase.
  • Qualify prospects, run discovery, and nurture relationships over weeks or months until they are ready to buy.
  • Lead or co-lead sales conversations with the founder, prepare proposals, and close engagements.
  • Keep the CRM accurate so pipeline, forecast, and partner activity are visible at any time.

📐 Refine and scale the sales function

  • Work with the founder to refine our existing sales process: stages, scripts, follow-up cadences, and handoffs to delivery.
  • Help define this role itself: what success looks like, which metrics matter, and how the work splits between people and AI.
  • Document what works so it can be repeated by the next hires and by agents.

🤖 AI in the sales process

  • Spot the steps in your work that AI can take over or speed up: research, lead scoring, outreach drafts, follow-up, call prep, call summaries, proposals, CRM updates.
  • Work with our automation team to build and test those agents and workflows, then refine them based on what moves deals.
  • Keep the human parts human: trust, judgment, reading the room, and closing.

You do not need to be technical. You do need to be curious, comfortable experimenting, and able to describe clearly what a tool should do for you.

📈 Where this goes

  1. Run the full cycle yourself: partners, leads, and closing, supported by AI.
  2. Turn what works into a documented, repeatable process.
  3. Build and lead a sales team of people and AI agents working together.

If you have built a sales team before, we want that experience. If you have not, but you can run this seat on your own and grow into leading others, we want to talk to you too.

Who you are

Must have

  • 5+ years in business development or sales, with 2+ years selling and closing consulting or professional services to business owners.
  • A track record of building referral or partner channels, not only working leads handed to you.
  • Experience running a full cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, close.
  • Daily, practical use of AI tools in your sales work, with examples you can show.
  • Fluent, clear English, written and spoken, and confidence on the phone and on video with founders and senior advisors.
  • Disciplined CRM habits and comfort working remotely with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • You have built or led a sales team.
  • Background in M&A, business valuation, private equity, wealth management, or management consulting.
  • Experience with GoHighLevel, ElevenLabs voice agents, or other sales automation tools.

How you operate

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity. When something is undefined, you propose a version, test it, and improve it.
  • You are driven by results and by earning well, and you think about money with fairness. You understand where a growing firm is today and want a deal that works for both sides as it grows.
  • You build relationships for the long term. Partners and clients trust you because you tell them the truth.
  • You bring ideas. You notice what is not working and suggest the fix.

💵 Compensation

Base pay plus commission on closed revenue, set based on your experience and location. Because this role is new, we will propose a clear starting structure and refine it with your input. We review it at 90 days and adjust as the pipeline, deal sizes, and your scope grow. Leading a team later comes with a matching change in pay.

Hiring process

  1. Explore the role with Pilar, our AI hiring assistant (bottom right), before or after you apply. Ask anything about the role, pay, or how we work.
  2. Apply on Dynamite Jobs. Answer the screening questions below. Applications for this role open soon.
  3. Intro video, 1 to 3 minutes. Who you are and why this role. If we cannot follow you at 1.5x speed, this role is not a fit.
  4. Work samples. The tasks below.
  5. Team interview.
  6. Founder interview with Chris Wise.
  7. Offer and agreement.

Screening questions

  1. Tell us about a sales role or process you built from nothing. What did you create, and what happened?
  2. Describe a referral or partner channel you developed. How many partners, and how much business came from it?
  3. Show us how you use AI in your sales work today. Be specific about tools and steps.
  4. What compensation structures have you worked under? Which one felt most fair to you, and why?
  5. Have you built or led a sales team? If so, what size, and what did you learn?

Work samples

  1. 📞 Partner outreach call. Record a 1 to 2 minute call to a CPA or M&A advisor who serves business owners. Introduce Wise Profits, explain why a partnership helps their clients, and ask for a meeting. Submit as a link.
  2. ✉️ Re-engage a stalled lead. Write a follow-up email to a founder who showed interest two months ago and went quiet. Your goal is a booked conversation.
  3. 🤖 AI in your sales work. In one page, describe a sales process you have run and three places where AI or an agent carried, or could carry, the work. Tell us which had the biggest impact and why.

Acceleration Operator

Full-timeRemote, worldwideUS business hours$2,500 to $5,000/month

Client-facing operations and AI consultant. The thought partner in the room and the person who makes the work happen afterward.

Applications are taken on Dynamite Jobs, where this role is listed as Business Operations Consultant (Client-Facing, Remote). Questions before or after you apply? Ask Pilar, bottom right.

The role

The Acceleration Operator is the client-facing partner to our Value Acceleration Director (VAD). You are on client calls together. The VAD leads the relationship and direction; you are the thought partner in the room and the person who makes the work happen afterward.

You drop into a client's business and do real work across sales, marketing, operations, and finance. Our AI copilot, built on Claude, does the heavy lifting on building deliverables. You direct it, check the output against what the client actually needs, deliver it, and walk the client through it until they can act on it.

This is not an admin or note-taking seat. Most of the time you get a client and a problem, and your job is to understand the problem and find the fastest way to solve it. Range matters more than depth in any one field.

🌎 Why this role: you work directly with founders across many industries, learn how an AI-Native advisory firm builds and delivers work, and see how companies get ready to scale and exit.

What you own

  • 🎙️ Client sessions with the VAD. Prepare the agenda, know where every open item stands, and contribute to the thinking. Capture decisions, numbers, and actions accurately the first time.
  • 🧱 Deliverables. Use our AI copilot to build analyses, plans, reports, playbooks, job descriptions, and forecasts. Review them for accuracy and fit before they reach the client.
  • 🧑‍🏫 Delivery and walkthroughs. Present deliverables, explain the reasoning, answer questions, and turn them into next steps the client owns.
  • 🏢 Embedded execution. When an engagement calls for it, work inside the client's business to move initiatives forward, coordinate vendors, and surface bottlenecks early.
  • 📌 Follow-through. Everything agreed lands in ClickUp the same day with an owner and a date. You chase open items until they close.
  • 💬 Client communication. Recaps go out the same business day or the next. You handle routine questions between sessions.
  • 📊 Data and reporting. Get the numbers we need, clean them up, and catch a number that looks wrong before a client sees it.
  • 🔧 Our own systems. Help improve how we run engagements so each one is faster than the last.

What success looks like

  • Clients act on what we deliver and leave each walkthrough clear on what they do next.
  • The VAD gains a thought partner, not a task list.
  • Nothing gets dropped. Actions are logged, owned, and closed without anyone chasing them.
  • Problems get caught before the client sees them.
  • Deliverables land faster: work that used to take days ships in hours.
  • Anyone can see how an engagement is running in ClickUp and the client's Drive folder.

What we are looking for

Required

  • Sharp and self-directed. Given a goal and no plan, you work out the steps and get started. This matters most.
  • Results-driven. You measure yourself by outcomes delivered, not tasks completed.
  • Business range. Working knowledge of at least three of sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
  • Real presence with owners and executives. You can run a meeting, present a deliverable, and handle pushback.
  • AI-fluent in daily practice. You know how to direct AI tools and when not to trust their output.
  • Fluent spoken English that is clear and easy to follow, even at 1.5x speed, and strong writing.
  • Organized under load, discreet with client financials, and a professional setup for calls.
  • 5+ years in consulting, agency, professional services, operations, or small-business leadership.

Helpful, not required

  • Experience inside or advising founder-led businesses from $1M to $100M in revenue.
  • Exposure to M&A, exit preparation, or business valuation.
  • Experience with ClickUp, Asana, or Monday, and with QuickBooks or similar tools.

How we work

  • US business hours. Live anywhere, but work a full day between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern.
  • Reliability is non-negotiable. If you cannot make a meeting or hit a deadline, you tell the team before it happens.
  • Reporting line. You work alongside our VADs and report to our Director of Operations.
  • The role evolves with our AI. As our systems improve, more production work shifts to AI and more of your time shifts to client delivery, thinking, and results.

💵 Compensation

Full-time contractor role, 40 hours per week, paid in USD. $2,500 to $5,000 per month, based on experience and location.

Hiring process

  1. Explore the role with Pilar, our AI hiring assistant (bottom right), before or after you apply. Ask anything about the role, pay, hours, or how we work. Pilar can't see application status. Our recruiting team contacts you about next steps.
  2. Apply on Dynamite Jobs. Send your resume and answer screening questions 1, 3, and 5 below. Start your first answer with the word "Accelerate" so we know you read this far.
  3. Screening by our recruiting partner. Every application is reviewed on one consistent scorecard. If you pass, we ask questions 2 and 4 and for a Loom video, 3 minutes or less, walking us through one piece of client work you are proud of.
  4. Recorded pre-screen call, 30 to 40 minutes, with our recruiting partner.
  5. Team interview with our operations team.
  6. Paid work test. A real business problem and access to AI tools. Build a short deliverable and present it to us as if we were the client.
  7. Final interview with our founder, Chris Wise.
  8. References, offer, and agreement.

Applications may be processed by our recruiting partner on behalf of Wise Profits.

Screening questions

  1. Tell us about a time you were handed a business problem with no plan. What did you do in the first 48 hours, and what was the result?
  2. Which of sales, marketing, operations, and finance do you know best, and which least? Give one concrete example from each area you know.
  3. Describe how you use AI in your work today: the tools, one real task, and how you check the output before anyone else sees it.
  4. Tell us about presenting work to a business owner or executive who pushed back. How did you handle it?
  5. Can you work a full day between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern, every workday? Answer yes or no, and note any limits.
